2008 Capital Fringe Festival
From July 10 to 27 the Capital Fringe Festival will take place in and around the Penn Quarter Neighborhood.
The Capital Fringe Festival is an annual performing arts festival featuring more than 500 performances in several venues around the Penn Quarter neighborhood. Capital Fringe is currently the fourth largest non-juried performing arts festival in the United States, with the mission of connecting exploratory artists with adventurous audiences by creating outlets and spaces for creative, cutting-edge, and contemporary performance in the District. The festival introduces new, risk-taking art, and non-traditional performances including theater, dance, music, poetry, puppetry and more.
