SmartBike DC
The District Department of Transportation's self-service public bike rental
program has bicycles located at key locations in the central business district
to provide a new way of discovering and moving around the city. For more

Bicycle Parking
Bicyclists are welcomed, which has over 200 inverted-U bike parking devices in public spaces – with more to come. Several downtown parking garages provide bicycle parking as well.

Bike Lane Development Downtown
The DC Bicycle Program Office at the District Department of Transportation is planning 50 miles of bike lanes, many of them in downtown. For more information check out the Bicycle Master Plan.
